Hotel-Restaurant Inselwirt in Fraueninsel im Chiemsee

Good food and fair prices, nice view! ?

We spent the weekend of the 7th to 8.12 in the hotel Inselwirt. We were very friendly received and hosted, the rooms are very comfortable and comfortable, the breakfast was very rich, the food in the cozy, Bavarian restaurant excellent. We can only say: all round recommended! That's why we signed up again for next year.

Despite many people today on the island we were in the island host excellently supplied by the Elke, the really friendly, fast, warm and well-versed their job !! Too bad that Elkes does not exist everywhere. The food was very good!

Excellent, very nice hotel with very good and friendly staff. Fantastic, clean rooms with a magical lake view. Have spent a couple of days here already twice and look forward to the next time.

We were there once and never again !! Service very bad. Had to wait a long time until the table was cleared by the guest. We got our cards after 10min ourselves. The food was very oily. The waiter had more to do to take care of his family (including guests) instead of the guests.

The service was slow and rude. The food ? I had to get my card myself, because the operation was completely overwhelmed. If I had to go to school grades it would be a 6.

A place for the most beautiful sunsets. Too bad he closes so early in the evening. Otherwise nice and personal service and wonderful Bavarian cuisine.

Expensive and with high number of guests you can not get a seat without reservation and have to wait a long time for his food.

I usually only write negative reviews if something didn't suit me. But this time, I just owe a positive one. First of all, whether I was just lucky or my eyes looked too hungry or the other guests were just unlucky? In any case, in a really stupid situation (think about enough cash !!) I was cared for in a really generous and uncomplicated way and it was also very tasty. The staff was very friendly and takes care of the guests. Otherwise you don't need to expect any prices from the kebab shop around the corner. That's obvious.

service is not good.. paying for the location and view.. food is ok.. I would not recommend to foreigners..

Food was delicious, the service was very slow and was under stress. With us a food was forgotten to bring. At the check-in the waiter was then rude, as we did not want to pay the ordered food.

Very nice beer garden with nice service. Prices are normal for such tourist destinations. The Schnitzel was big and delicious ... also nice view

It was ok, prices / performance is good but you could still cover the remaining 5 tables. At the table where I sat stuck bird's shit it would have been nice if it had been cleaned

Can not confirm the negative criticism! Food is the price not so cheap but due to the quality and the absolute value for the reason appropriate. Pike and schnitzel are absolutely top !!! Also the apple pie is delicious!

We were on the first Saturday after season opening for dinner and staying at the hotel. There was excellent fish. The mood is wonderful. The service staff was very nice. Boss and boss are also working with. Also very nice and attentive. Overnight in a very cozy room. Since it was only the 3rd season day we were the only overnight guests. Nevertheless, the boss greeted us personally the next morning and there was an incredible breakfast, just for us. Many Thanks!! You have to have been here

Extremely mediocre food and drink at inflated prices

Cappuccino lukewarm, cake tiny and the quality is not good, price too much, prefer to drive to Prein Neuer am See, because you get more for your money!

OK restaurant, marketing a long tradition of 600 years (don't know if it's true). The food is Bavarian style and good quality. But prices are quite high. Staff is friendly, nice location, old building.

Beautiful setting. Food good but schnitzel was dry, great potato salad and generous servings.

The 3-course menu included in the Candle-Light Cruise was outstanding. In terms of price, I can hardly say anything because it was a package. The staff was very friendly, the table very nicely set and the service very good. Visited in July 2016

Great atmosphere, especially in the beer garden. Make sure to be seated with a nice view to the lake. Good food and not uncommonly pricey for the location (nothing´s cheap there, just so you know ;). Definitely my favorite place to have lunch at Frauenchiemsee!
